National Initiatives to engage the public

There are many national initiatives that help to inform the public and allow you to take an active part in your community and government.

Across the United States, organizations, museums, educators, and civic groups are launching initiatives that inform, inspire, and invite participation. These national efforts align closely with the mission of the New Mexico Semi-Quincentennial Commission by helping residents learn, connect, and take part in shaping this historic commemoration.

Get Involved

The 250th anniversary is not only about reflection, it is about action. Across the country, communities are creating opportunities for people to participate directly through service, arts, heritage, and civic engagement.
