About the Great American State Fair
The Great American State Fair is a 16-day national exposition running from June 25 through July 10, 2026, spanning from the U.S. Capitol to the Washington Monument. The celebration will unite and showcase all 56 U.S. states and territories in a single World’s Fair-scale event.
This is an opportunity for visitors from across America to experience an unforgettable celebration of the people, culture, traditions, food, art, music, and innovation that define our nation.

New Mexico Pavilion
New Mexico’s activation will be a bold, immersive celebration of adventure rooted deeply in culture, capturing the unmistakable spirit people feel the moment they arrive in our state.
At the center of the experience, an iconic pueblo-style home — an earth-toned adobe structure instantly recognizable as New Mexico — will anchor the space, surrounded by vibrant chile ristras that create a powerful walk-through environment unlike anything else at the fair.
Dynamic activations will invite visitors to interact directly with New Mexico’s culture, landscapes, traditions, and hospitality. Visual imagery throughout the space will transport attendees into New Mexico’s mountains, deserts, pueblos, outdoor adventures, and historic communities, while traditional items and curated merchandise from across the state will allow visitors to take a piece of that experience home.
The pavilion will be proudly branded under “New Mexico Spirit,” the state’s semiquincentennial initiative, alongside New Mexico True, with opportunities to showcase aligned local and statewide partners.

Green and Red Chile Photo Booth
A designated photographer captures attendees in front of a red and green chile-themed backdrop inspired by New Mexico’s iconic state question: “Red or Green?”
Green Chile Trivia
The New Mexico Department of Agriculture features its electronic Green Chile Trivia game for participants to enjoy and learn more about one of New Mexico’s most iconic agricultural products.
